Pink Bunny Suit at World Series of Poker

If I told you a Pink Bunny will be playing poker in Las Vegas July 7th, you?d think I was crazy. Well some idiot is dressing up in a Pink Bunny suit to play in the World Series of Poker and guess what? Golden Palace.com is footing the bill.

That?s right, GoldenPalace.com bid $15,000 for 1 man, Jeremy Enke, a poker affiliate who came up with a great marketing ploy. Enke will dress in the pink bunny suit for all appearances throughout his time in Vegas. That includes bars, restaurants, and while gambling out on the town. The Pink Bunny Suit includes a big sign on the chest that reads: GOLDEN PALACE.COM.

In our opinion, we think this was a real win/win deal for GoldenPalace.com and Enke. Jeremy is getting his entry fee to the World Series of Poker paid for by Golden Palace which costs $10,000 and then he gets $5,000 in expense money. Well when its said and done, Jeremy is going to get paid about $2,000 after hotel, food, entertainment, etc. for walking around all day and night in a Pink Bunny Suit and a good week’s salary for anyone. GoldenPalace.com keeps up its image of buying the wierdest Ebay bids while turning them into big marketing promotions.

One thing yet to be determined is if, Harrah?s, the World Series of Poker owners, are going to allow merchandise emblazoned with logos from different online poker rooms to be worn by players. If Harrah?s says no, Jeremy already has told us he has a backup plan. We are pretty sure it will be good considering the first idea was.

Update: The Pink Bunny will NOT be allowed to play. Well, the guy in the Pink Bunny Suit won't be allowed to wear the bunny while playing that is. Harrah's has dropped the hammer on Jeremy Enke, the man behind the suit, will have to go as himself, if he wants to enter the big dance.
