Cake Poker is a great up and coming poker room, with good low limit hold’em and Omaha ring games, as well high quality, well run tournaments. The competition is soft and the initial deposit bonus is very lucrative and fairly easy to clear.

Cake’s software is functional and the graphics are ok. The lobby is easy to navigate with two separate sections for ring games and tournaments, and two additional menu bars in each section to make it easy for you to find a ring game or tournament that suits your needs. The tables are somewhat resizable, with no loss in the graphics quality. By somewhat, I mean that they can be condensed, but not by very much. On a regular screen you are still only be able to fit 2 tables side by side at their smallest size. Cake has twenty 3-dimensional avatars that you can choose from, all of which are fairly realistic. Cake keeps track of your stats and you can find them in the chat box while you play. The software is constantly being updating and any problems with lag or other issues from the early days have since been fixed.
