Cool features of Luvin Poker

There’s a few features of Luvin that I’d like to tell you about. Firstly rather than having to choose from a stock avatar which you’ll then find other players using, you can upload your own. Just go to Options>Avatar and then click ‘change avatar’ which is where you can upload it. A great little feature which makes it feel that bit more ‘special’.

Something else which is handy is being able to ‘tag’ players. If you go to Options>Player Tagging you can see there’s three already but that you can make your own, calling them whatever you want. As well as a tag you can also assign a colour. For example you might have ‘good player’ as red to warn you, or a ‘fish’/bad payer as green. Make sure you keep your coding consistent and then you’ve given yourself more chance to beat that player the next time you see him.

As well as take notes and tag a player, you can rate them out of five (five being the best). Their rating is then displayed by their player name on the table.

The final feature to discuss is the community/forum side of Luvin. Luvin take their player community very seriously and there’s even a separate website for this. This has a very active discussion forum where you can talk about the games, poker strategy and so on. It’s essentially social networking for the players on Luvin and you can also do things like share photos and join social groups.
