Playing Poker at the MicroLimits

Most people that are new to online poker start at the micro limit games.

Overall microlimit games consist of games where the big bling is .10 cents or less. Some people would consider .25/.50 limit a microlimit. We do not. Why? Poker is a fairly old game and has often been played for quarters. The quarter games in our opinion are considered low limit.

Why would you want to play micro limit poker?

-You want to get your feet wet before moving to higher limits.
-You don't like the pressure of betting alot of money.
-You just like playing for fun, but with a little extra on the line.
-You want to make your bankroll last a long time.

Who offers micro limit poker games?

Sites like Ultimate Bet, PokerStars, and Bodog offer real money micro games as low as .01/.02 limit hold em. These microlimits consist of anywhere between .01/.02 limit and no limit up to the .05/.10 limits.

All poker sites are not created equal

Well if you browsed the site at all you'd know that not all poker rooms are created equal :). Conglomerates like Party Poker and Empire Poker do NOT offer microlimit tables, due to their size of operation. Which I find strange considering many newbies start their online poker careers at one of those two sites.
